I grew up in the Waterloo Region with my family who taught me the value of integrity, hard work and sharing a good joke or two. After completing my undergraduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, I attended Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. While at law school, I was selected by the Dean to provide mentorship to other law students and worked on a variety of pro-bono legal matters. I joined GGFI Law LLP after my first year of law school, completed my articles here, and continue to serve as a lawyer since my call to the bar in 2022.
I focus my practice on matters related to corporate/business law, real estate transactions, Wills and Estates, trusts and charity law. Whether I am helping with purchase or sale of a business, assisting with the buying or selling of a home, preparing Powers of Attorney and Wills or helping with any other need that may arise, I dedicate myself fully to delivering exemplary service. I do not shy away from complicated matters, but apply myself to understanding the issues, crafting solutions and serving others with the gifts, time and mind I have been given.
While not working as a lawyer, I enjoy teaching at the University of Waterloo, getting outdoors, volunteering at my church and spending time with my wonderful wife and family (which does include my cats, Leo, Asia and Albert)
